A thought of mine when I wake up and realize that today is her birthday. So I decided to write about friendship …between women!
There are people in my life that, few in number … I can call them true friends. It takes time and many attempts to say: you’re a true friend! Usually you don’t have to say it, it feels and it’s enough.
I can say that God is wonderful and blessed me with a few friends, but sincere and true!

You know that a close relationship of friendship makes you feel good. What benefits does to your health?
- According to a study going on for 10 years conducted among older people in Australia, satisfying friendships predict longevity. Satisfying relationships and friendships protect against depression, heart disease and obesity (I think because of this I am so slim 🙂 ).
- Dialogue (or a good gossip at the coffee :)) releases the hormone oxytocin, which has a profoundly calming effect on the mind and body.
- Going out with a girlfriend have anti-stress effects, doctors say, and may even prevent heart attacks.
- When you have people around that consider you important to them, that ask you opinion in important matters and appreciates your company, you’re likely to feel more confident in yourself.
Sport and healthy eating are priceless when it comes to health. But remember that friendship and relationships are treasures for health. They can be as valuable as a diet or a sports program, so do not neglect them and make time for them. In addition, life is more beautiful when you have good friends and when you prove you’re a good friend to others!
Going back to where we started, today is the day of a loved one in my life! Happy Birthday my dear! I think we’ve reached that stage of life where we do not have to prove anything in terms of our friendship. It’s all clear, obvious, logical and for life! 🙂 Enjoy every moment, smile, be happy …
