Because we haven’t been out of Paris for a long time, we need it a small ” virée ” (exit by car) … where closer and snobbish than in Deauville? A jewel on the coast of Normandy? 🙂
We were surprised by the road we took to Deauville, everything was clean, quiet, green.
Deauville is the nearest seaside resort to Paris and hosts high society French vacation homes, which is why it is often called Parisian Riviera. Since the nineteenth century, the city of Deauville has become a fashionable destination for international aristocratic class.
On the beach called the “queen of the Norman beaches” and the sea, tourists can relax in the many bars and restaurants on the promenade or center.
Market Morny in Deauville is right downtown and even hosting stores of famous fashion houses such as Hermes, Louis Vuitton, Prada, is where Coco Chanel opened its first store.
Horses are a symbol for the city of Deauville, so we couldn’t miss the famous race that have become very popular in recent years.
Art of living and quality of life if the barometer by which this city works.
A nice brew at Dupont-Salon de Thé, golf, horse rides in the enchanting sunset, the most wonderful sunrise at 6: 50 hours (of course I couldn’t miss it), shopping, horse racing, a polo game, casinos and thousands of other delights make Deauville a unique and unforgettable.
It is an ideal destination to spend a nice and quiet weekend! So I invite you to Deauville!:)
