This cake is a delicious way to consume spirulina! I wrote this article about spirulina, a green-blue seaweed, considered a super food. Rich in vitamins, antioxidants, Omega-3 and Omega-6. Slows the aging process and cleanse the body of toxins. I think it’s wonderful to eat a cake to satisfy your taste buds and still benefits to this natural medicine!

Ingredients for the base:
- 5 tablespoons of flax seeds;
- 50gr walnuts, almonds;
- 2 tablespoons large coconut flakes;
- 6 dehydrated dates;
- 6 dehydrate prunes;
- 1 pinch of salt;

- 1 cup cashew nuts;
- 2 tablespoons honey or stevia (natural sweetener);
- 3 table spoon coconut oil;
- 2 teaspoons powdered spirulina;
- 1 pinch of salt;

Preparation:
- To prepare the cake base, place all ingredients in a blender and mix until you get a sticky and crumbly paste .Pres mixture into a removable form ( cake ring).
- To prepare the cream put cashew nuts soaked in hot water about 1 hour. To obtain a much smoother and fluffy cream, let the nuts sit in water overnight.
- Put cashew nuts IN BLENDER .Add coconut oil, spirulina, honey and salt, mix at high speed until result a smooth and homogeneous cream. Pour cream over base. Optionally, you can decorate the cake with grated coconut, cocoa etc. Then place the cake in the freezer and let stand for 1-2 hours, to become harden and be cut.
- Before serving it, let it sit a quarter of an hour at room temperature. You can then keep refrigerated.
