When you return to the town dear to your soul for a short vacation and want something sweet, all you can (and should) do is to visit at your earliest opportunity teahouse raw-vegan coffeehouse RawCoco.
Sweet arranged with French flair is on a quiet street Constantin Aricescu, on Floreasca area and has one room quite small but chic decorated with a pink colored corner.
RawCoco founder is Anca Alungulesei specialist in raw-vegan desserts, is the first author of Romania to launch a book about “the most intelligent food” where we can choose: natural cold-pressed juices.
Reading her blog and raw adventures, and I felt really sorry that we haven’t meet in the cafeteria, I hope to have the opportunity next time when I will return to this corner of paradise!
From refrigerated counter have winked at us colorful and appetizing sweets and we give a lot of thought before we decided what to order. Eventually I chose two different cakes: Raw Vegan cake Snickers and raw vegan cake Peppermint, but of course I couldn’t miss vanilla cream with rose petals this is why and I also ordered a slice of cake RawCoco. All were good, fresh, healthy, nourishing, and different from ordinary confectioneries.
And with raw cakes I enjoyed a kombucha, a drink from Happy Body Detox range obtained by fermentation of the fungus of the same name. It has a discreet smell of vinegar, but the taste is very pleasant, a little sweet.
Prices are not the lowest, but I would say that is justified by the quality and taste: cake 21-27lei, kombucha -14 lei; For a spoiled weekend with a dear friend I think it’s worth it. 🙂
You must know that they have set up in a corner and a small store where you can take home all sorts of ingredients raw and organic, such as almond butter or cashew, coconut water, chia seeds, macca and spirulina powder, organic cocoa, teas, oils, etc.
I left happy and smiling.
Give it a try!
